Two New Mexico teens paid the price for what authorities are calling reckless driving. An 18 year old New Mexico driver of a black pickup truck was traveling on New Mexico Hwy. 314 when the vehicle left the road and lost control. Initial reports suggested that speed was an issue in the New Mexico rollover accident and authorities were considering citations of reckless or careless driving. Although it is unlikely that the driver would have a viable claim for injuries in the event he was liable for the accident. However, the Los Lunas accident also involved a 14-year-old passenger who was injured. Even in single vehicle accidents, a passenger may have a viable claim against any negligent driver.

Although injuries could have been far worse, early reports suggest that both the driver and passenger were conscious at the scene and transported to University of New Mexico Hospital.

An Albuquerque car accident is not uncommon, but having two serious Albuquerque car accidents with minutes of each other is. However, that is exactly what happened recently when two serious car accidents occurred with five minutes of each other. The first accident happened on Paseo del Norte and Lowell when a vehicle rolled and caused serious injuries to an adult and child. The Albuquerque accident resulted in an occupant of the vehicle being ejected and a rescue helicopter being called in.

The second Albuquerque car accident happened across town when a head on collision occurred on I-25 near Broadway. Early reports suggested that one of the accident victims was unconscious as she was transported to the hospital. Although the news media reported that these accident caused substantial traffic concerns for Albuquerque commuters, being five minutes late to work is nothing given the nature of these serious accidents.

A New Mexico accident claimed the life of a El Paso man. The Roswell, New Mexico rollover accident occurred when an SUV, on its way to Hobbs, New Mexico, lost control and rolled, after the driver attempted to overcorrect. The SUV was carrying five men as it traveled through New Mexico. The El Paso man who passed away in the accident was sleeping in the rear luggage area without a seatbelt.

A New Mexico accident case such as this raises the question of whether the occupant of the vehicle not wearing a seatbelt still recover when an accident occurs. Generally, the answer is yes. It is important for a New Mexico car accident lawyer to be aware of the latest laws and cases regarding this issue to ensure that an insurance company does not attempt to prevent recovery.

An SUV full of people was involved in a fatal New Mexico car accident near Socorro, NM. Although accident investigators are still looking into the accident, it is believed that a blown tire contributed to, if not caused, the accident. Such accidents are not terribly common in New Mexico, but when they occur, they often result in serious, if not fatal, injuries.

When such injuries occur, there is no amount of money that can fully compensate the victims and their families, but, that being said, the New Mexico rollover lawyers at the Fine Law Firm have seen such money go a long way toward helping o improve the quality of life for the survivors.

Cases involving New Mexico rollover accidents, as well as those involving defective tires and crashworthiness are generally very technical. It is important for plaintiffs to hire attorneys experienced with these sorts of cases and aware of the nuances involved. Not every single vehicle New Mexico accident will be a viable case, but it is wise to have such cases evaluated by a professional.
