A Valencia County woman was taken to University of New Mexico hospital following serious injuries she suffered when involved in an accident with a construction vehicle. According to reports, the woman rear-ended the large truck on Highway 47. However, uncommon for such New Mexico car accidents, reports suggest that the woman is not responsible for the accident. Instead, police have indicated that the truck driver will be cited for failure to yield and improper equipment.

If officers conclude that the negligent driving or operation of the commercial vehicle was a cause of the car accident, then there may be a possible New Mexico truck accident claim against the driver’s employer and their insurance carrier. Such claims can be based entirely on the failure to properly load, secure, and warn when a commercial driver is involved in an accident.

A Santa Fe ambulance was recently involved in a horrific accident involving a wrong way driver. The Santa Fe wrongful death accident occurred when an out-of-state driver traveling the wrong way on I-25 crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the ambulance head-on.

This Santa Fe car accident that shut down traffic for roughly 9 hours has already claimed the life of one individual while others are recovering from their injuries. Of particular note, authorities are focusing on the fact that the wrong way driver was from outside New Mexico. This has led investigating officers to question at the very least whether confusing signage or maintenance of the area could have contributed to the driver traveling the wrong direction.

Those involved in the accident, it could pose no risk that a possible New Mexico tort claim may exist as well as the typical car accident law.

Albuquerque police and rescue personnel are being praised for their immediate action in what is truly one of Albuquerque’s worst traffic days.

A Texas man was killed in a recent New Mexico accident involving a rollover. As many Albuquerque car accident lawyers are aware, most vehicles are designed to protect occupants from a rollover accident. While human error can play a significant role is such accidents, they sometimes also involve product defect cases. However, one of the most important concerns for any wrongful death product defect case is preserving the potentially defective product. In the event the vehicle is towed away, sold for salvage, or repaired, it can become impossible to prove a vehicle defect case.

Most any Albuquerque car accident involves being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But never has the cliche been more appropriate for a freak Albuquerque accident at Ross and Palomas.

The car accident began when a van ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. The second vehicle went on to collide with two teenagers who just happened to be walking by.

According to new accounts, one of the teenagers went to intensive car and the other sustained a serious injury to his arm. All to often our personal injury lawyers are called with similar such cases in which clients ask about all the possible sources of recovery. Many times, even for Albuquerque pedestrian accidents, there are multiple sources of recovery including various insurance policies.

Any New Mexico car accident lawyer knows rear end accidents are all too common in New Mexico. They can occur due to the slightest slip of attention in cautious driving. However, a recent New Mexico accident near Lovington, New Mexico is proving to be all but the result of carelessness. Instead, police are indicating that a man from Lubbock, Texas was driving at such a high speed that when he rear-ended a Lovington woman, it cost her her life.

The accident occurred on New Mexico Hwy. 18 when the other man collided with the vehicle in front of him, causing it to leave the road. As a result of being pushed off the road, the vehicle overturned at which point the Lovington, New Mexico woman was ejected. Sadly, the accident which took only moments to occur, will be an impact decades to come.
